Pamela Cheek Boger, 64, of Mocksville, passed away on May 15, 2019 at WFBMC in Winston-Salem.
Pam was born June 10, 1954 in Herlong, California, a daughter to the late Bobby R. Cheek and Dorothy Anderson Cheek. She attended and graduated from Davie County High School with the class of 1972 and later married Robert Wayne Boger. She was preceded in death by her husband Wayne, her parents Bobby and Dorothy and her sister Barbara.
In life, Pam worked as a registered nurse and cared for many people in her career. She held an associate’s degree in nursing as well. She also attended Hillsdale United Methodist Church and served her church in the nursery and with bible study. Pamela is survived by her loving family, including her son John C. Boger (Whitney) of Mocksville, daughter Angela Boger Worley (Todd) of Asheboro, brother Ray Cheek (Monica) of Gastonia, sister Karen Johnson (Mark) of Statesville and her five grandchildren; Kayla, Colton, Blake, Mason and Paisley.
A visitation will be held on Friday, May 17 from 6:30 – 8:30 PM at the Davie Funeral Service Chapel in Mocksville. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 18 at 11 AM at the Eaton Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor David Gilbreath officiating.
