Naomi Minton, 73, of Clemmons passed away on June 1, 2019 in Winston-Salem while under the care of the K.B. Reynolds Hospice House.
Naomi was born July 30, 1945 in Davie County, a daughter to the late Carl Baysinger and Della Poole Baysinger. She was preceded in death by both her parents, her brother Jack Baysinger and two sisters, Mary Chattin and Joanne Ferguson.
In life, Naomi was a loving mother and homemaker and was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church. She is survived by a large and caring family, including her sons Mitchell Green (Susan) and Timmy Green, both of Mocksville, daughters Sherry Green and Angela Burchette (Mark Daggert), both of Advance, brother Glenn Baysinger (Mary Lynne) of Wilkesboro, sister Betty Cox of Salisbury and sister Barbara Barker of Florida, five grandchildren; Candi (Steven), Kenzi, Bela, Carley and Jessup, two great-grandchildren Brody and Ava, a very special friend Orlando and many nieces and nephews, especially two who were close to her heart, Debra Barker-Sudnik of Florida and Cheryl Jackson.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2019 at the Davie Funeral Service Chapel in Mocksville from 1 PM to 2 PM. A memorial service will immediately follow at 2 PM, also at the Davie Chapel, with Pastor Rob Waugh officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Naomi’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America or to the K.B. Reynold’s Hospice House.
