Larry Wayne Lucas

Larry Wayne Lucas, 66, passed away Sunday, February 24, 2019, at his residence in Mocksville.

Larry was born October 4, 1952 in Boone County, West Virginia, the son of the late Ralph Edward and Beatrice I. Miller Lucas. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Kay Nipps Lucas.

Larry graduated from Dunbar High School with the Class of 1971.

He is survived by a brother, Robert Lucas of Yadkinville, NC; two sisters, Sherry Summers (Keith), and Karen Lynn Harrison (Calvin) both of Mocksville, NC.

A Memorial Service will be conducted at 3:00 pm Saturday, March 2, 2019 at Trinity Baptist Church with Rev. Darrell Cox officiating. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.
