Kenneth "Ken" Ray Boger Sr

Kenneth Ray Boger Sr., 68, of Clarendon passed away on May 31, 2019 at Columbus Regional Hospital in Whiteville.

Ken was born September 18, 1950 in Surry County, a son to the late Ralph Hoover Boger and Pearlie Mae Stanley Boger. He was preceded in death by both of his parents, one grandson Malachi and one brother Dennis.

In life, Kenneth worked as a laborer at Top Tobacco and was of the Baptist faith. He is survived by a large and loving family, including his sons Ralph Eli Boger, Jonathan Andrew Boger and Kenneth Ray Boger Jr. (Tammy), daughters Sherry Mae Boger and Lacy Jean High, brother Thomas Lee Boger, sisters Elizabeth Hope Wilson (Gary), Darlene Chambers (Jim) and Susan Renee Lawson (Mike), as well as 10 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and many other extended family members and friends.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 4, 2019 from 11 AM to 12 PM Noon at Rock Spring Baptist Church in Harmony. A funeral service will follow immediately at noon, also at the church with Pastor Jeff Folk officiating. Interment will be at the Rock Spring Baptist Church Cemetery.
