Jeff Martin Lineberry Jr., 75, of Winston-Salem, passed away on October 17, 2019 while under the care of KB Reynolds Hospice House in Winston-Salem.
Jeff was born November 9, 1943 in Forsyth County, a son to the late Jeff Martin Lineberry Sr. and Ella Hazel Steelman Gatewood. He attended and graduated from North West High School with the class of 1962. He served in the Army National Guard in High Point and Greensboro for 6 years and achieved the rank of Sgt. E-5. He later married Norma Anne Toussaint. Jeff was preceded in death by both of his parents, as well as his brother Joe Eugene Lineberry and his step-father Al Gatewood.
In life, Jeff was a member of St. Leo’s Catholic Church. He worked in retail lumber and hardware sales for Lowe’s for 15 years. He is survived by a large and loving family, including his wife of 41 years, Norma Anne Lineberry, his son Brian M. Lineberry of Hiddenite, son Brad M. Lineberry of Palm Beach, Florida, daughter Kimberly A. Reiner of Jupiter, Florida, daughter Jennifer A. Lineberry of Hiddenite, brother David Lineberry (Lisa) of Walnut Cove, brother Stokes Gatewood (Jill) of Mocksville, his four grandchildren Cade and Laine Reiner, Makenda Joseph and Lily Lineberry, sister-in-law Betty Lineberry and step-mother Colleen Lineberry of King.
A visitation will be held on Monday, October 21 from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM at the Davie Funeral Service Chapel in Mocksville. A funeral mass will be held earlier in the day at 11:00 AM at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Mocksville with Reverend Father Eric Kowalski officiating.
