Jeff Anderson

Jeffrey Van “Jeff” Anderson, 62, passed away at his home under Hospice care on Monday, December 10, 2018. He was born in Iredell County on March 8, 1956, the son of the late George Samuel and Edna Pauline Daughtry Anderson.

Jeff was a graduate of West Rowan High School and after working on the family farm for a number of years, he became a self-employed auto mechanic. He loved working on “muscle cars” and racing them as well.  More recently, he also enjoyed assembling Lionel model trains.

Those remaining to cherish his memory include his wife of 33 years, Kathy Presnell Anderson; two sons, Jason and David Anderson of the home; two daughters, Cody Anderson of the home and Jessica Allen (Michael) of Cooleemee; and four grandchildren: Mia, Madison, Caylee and Bentley.

The family will receive friends at Davie Funeral Chapel Wednesday, December 12, from 5:30 until 7:00 PM. A Celebration of Life Service will begin at 7:00 PM officiated by Pastor Chris Williams. Private interment will follow at a later date at Center UMC Church Cemetery.
