Gregory "Pop" Paul Perkins

Gregory “Pop” Paul Perkins, 67, of Mocksville, NC, died December 14, 2019 at his residence.

Pop was born October 26, 1952 in Boston, Mass., a son of the late Daniel and Margaret Perkins. He was also preceded in death by a sister Pamela Brooks, and a special pet Newman.

In life Pop was a graduate of Boston Technical School Class of 1969. He was owner of D&K Insulation, and worked for NC D.O.T. Pop attended St. Francis Assisi Catholic Church of Mocksville. He enjoyed restoring muscle cars.

Survivors include his wife of forty eight years Patricia “Pat” Helen (Lynch) Perkins, sons Daniel John Perkins, and Gregory Daniel Perkins, daughter Kelly Perkins Giles (Jonathan), sister Patrice McGonagle (James), brother Walter Bowan, grandchildren Daniel J. Perkins, Fiona Perkins, Lily Anna Giles, Jonathan D Giles, Gregory Ray Giles, nieces Gail Brooks, Meghan McGonagle, Brogan McGonagle, and Molly McGonagle, nephews Rodney Brooks, Matthew Brooks, .

Visitation will be held 5:30 PM- 6:30 PM Thursday December 19, 2019, in the Davie Funeral Service Chapel 416 Valley Road Mocksville, NC 27028.
