David Joel Johnson

David Joel Johnson, 54, of Mocksville, NC, died on December 8, 2019 at his residence.

David was born October 19, 1965 in Guilford County, NC, a son of Nancy (Farmer) Johnson and the late Clifton Dale Johnson. He was also preceded in death by grandparents John and Hazel Farmer, father in law Tony Hendrix.

David was a graduate of Parkland High School class of 1983. He worked as a truck driver for WEN Construction. David loved spending time with his granddaughter. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, his goats and cows, and house pets Trixie and Bailey.

Survivors include his wife Angelia (Hendrix) Johnson, son Joel Michael Johnson, daughter Brooke Johnson Spillman (Michael), brother Larry D. Johnson (Julie), sister Christi Johnson Gibson (Frank), grandchild Piper Blair Johnson.

A gathering of friends and family will be held December 10, 2019 from 6:30 PM- 8:30 PM at Davie Funeral Service 416 Valley Road Mocksville, NC 27028.
