Bobby Junior Harris Obituary

Bobby Junior Harris, 84, completed his earthly journey Thursday, January 24, 2019, at his home in Mocksville. He was born in Yadkin County on June 15, 1934, the son of the late Nathan S. Harris and Nora Ann Osborne Harris.

Mr. Harris was a Veteran of the Korean War, serving in the US Army where he was a sergeant. He spent some 30 years as a truck driver and last worked for Davie Trucking Company.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years, Betty Lou Johnson Harris; one son, Stewart Junior Harris of Mocksville; three daughters: Debra Sigmon (Tim) of Denver, NC, Luann White (William) of Farmington and Kathy Craver (Joe) of Welcome, NC; one brother, Sandy Harris (Pearl) of Yadkinville; plus eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Buster, Jack and Bud Harris, and three sisters: Mary Lee Snyder, Doris Steelman and Hazel Walker.

No services are planned at this time. Memorials may be made to Farmington Baptist Church, 1835 Farmington Road, Mocksville, NC 27028.
