Billy Michael York

Billy Michael York, 56, passed away at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice in Winston-Salem Thursday, January 31, 2019. He was born in Davie County on October 22, 1962, the son of Geraline Holleman York and the late David Clyde York.

Other survivors include two sons, Zachary M. York and Cory M. York, both of Mocksville, and several grandchildren. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Michelle York and Ginger Rutledge.

Visitation with family and friends will be from 6:30 until 8:30 PM Monday, February 4, 2019, at Davie Funeral Chapel in Mocksville. The Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Tuesday, February 5, at Davie Funeral Chapel with Rev. Darrell Cox officiating. Interment will follow in Legion Memorial Park in Cooleemee.
