Billie Jean (Josey) Beck

Billie Jean will always be thought of since my family now lives on the old farm. I live in the cabin. Every morning I see the beauty in the land that she once saw, and now I see why she loved it here.

Mrs Beck was my 4th grade teacher at Cooleemee. I always remember her speaking softly and being patient. I also remember after bible school going to her and Richard's farm and swimming in the pool. Richard liked to joke with people and Bille Jean(Chick) telling him to go easy with his jokes. Richard gave family nicknames and  Billie Jean was(Chick) . Cathy and Frank and family you are in my prayers. Now she home and will have her hands full keeping Richard in line.

Billie Jean was a wonderful teacher, mentor, and friend.  She always looked for the positive and always had a smile on her face.  She always looked to the Lord for guidance.  Please know that  your family is in my prayers.  I know that Billie Jean is still teaching in Heaven.  

So sorry to hear of Billie Jean's passing. We were colleagues at Cooleemee many long years ago. Condolences to all her family and friends.
