Bill McCrary

Billy Gene “Bill” McCrary, 87, departed this life Sunday, February 10, 2019, at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born in Davie County on May 16, 1931, the son of the late Richard and Vertie Brown McCrary.

Mr. McCrary retired from Ingersoll-Rand in 1990 after working more than 20 years in the assembly department. He attended the First Baptist Church in Cooleemee.  

He is survived by his wife, Aris Annette Kassell McCrary. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Bruce McCrary; his first wife, Annie Pearl; and his second wife, Dot Kiser.

The funeral service will be conducted at 12:00 PM Wednesday, February 13, at Davie Funeral Chapel with Pastor Chris Williams officiating. Interment will follow in the Liberty United Methodist Church Cemetery. A time of visitation will be held one hour prior to the service in the funeral chapel.
