Marsha “Bebop” Woodard
Marsha Kay Holden Woodard, 57, known by family and friends as “Bebop”, passed away Wednesday, November 11, 2015, at Brightmoor Nursing Center in Salisbury after a period of declining health. She was a native of Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of the late John B. Holden and the late Kathryn Mose Holden, and had resided in North Carolina for the past seven years.
“Bebop” was the widow of the late Ronnie Woodard who died in April of this year. They had been married for 37 years. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include one daughter, Jenny Adkins and husband, Brian, of Mocksville; two sons, Josh Dale Woodard of Tennessee and Jason Edward Woodard of Missouri; and six grandchildren: Josh Allen Woodard, Riley Woodard, Brian and Alex Adkins, Ashley and Jasmine Woodard.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Ronnie Jacob Woodard, and a daughter, Jessica Woodard.
