Anice Plowman Jarvis
Anice Plowman Jarvis, 83, of Windsor Wood Trail, Rockwell, NC, died on Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at Rowan Regional Medical Center. Born in Davie County on May 11, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Luther Trivette and Leva Nile Plowman Trivette. She had worked as a CNA for Autumn Care and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Mrs. Jarvis is preceded in death by her husband, James Edward Jarvis.
She is survived by a son, Gary Edward (Jo-Ann) Jarvis, of Jacksonville, Florida, 2 daughters, Patricia J. (Danny) Davis of Stuart, Virginia, and Jan J. (Barry) Hailey of Rockwell, NC; a brother, Richard Gray (Jerri) Trivette of Mocksville, and a sister, Betty Lou Holder of Davidson County; 3 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Tony Stevenson “T.J.” Jarvis, and a brother, Boyd Trivette.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, November 1, at 2:00 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Jim Gryder officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The body will lie in state 30 minutes prior to the service. The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 31, from 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. at Davie Funeral Service in Mocksville.
